This is not a little girl with lovely curly blonde locks. This is the back of my son's head. I love his blonde curls, but it was time for them to go.
He sat, not so still, during the whole haircut.
He has six combs in his hand there. Every time I grabbed a comb to use he would scream and wiggle until I gave it to him. Luckily I had many combs to spare so he was semi-satisfied.
Doesn't he look handsome! He even sat and played with his combs long enough for me to sweep up and take a few pictures. Note to self...combs are fun toys.
Water and hair kept dripping and falling down into his ears. He kept trying to itch and wipe.

All those blonde curls littering the chair and floor. I swept up quite a bit of blonde curlies. Made me a little sad but I kept reminding myself that it is just hair and it will always grow back.
Showing off those two front teeth and his handsome new do. Now maybe the kids in primary will stop calling him a she and the old ladies at the grocery store might stop asking me how old my little girl is. Maybe!
Loving the combs still...
And a new haircut deserves a nice, nimble downward dog in celebration.
Now Mom...Please pick me up!
